Ectotect is a small business based in Cornwall, UK, which aims to provide alternatives to the management of pests and parasites in animals. We are developing products which make use of botanical essential oils.

Our current product Equine NitNat is a fresh smelling spray which is groomed into the coat, leaving it soft, manageable and glossy - this creates a less hospitable environment for lice. Equine NitNat contains high quality Australian tea tree oil from the plant Melaleuca alternifolia. Tea tree has long been traditionally used for its natural antibacterial, antifungal and insecticidal properties.
